Gracias!

'Me Quiero Morir' Dice Franco De Vita Cuando Le Hablan De Venezuela Y Rompe En Llanto VIDEO
As an Italian Native, I've decided to make a list of the most valuable things for you, dear learner!
HERE'S SOME HELP FOR YOU!
This could end up pretty long, but I still would like to encourage any other Italian native to share their knowledge too on here!
Premise: I highly suggest that you:
1 - Buy a VPN subscription or find a free one, so that you can virtually trip to Italy and watch content restricted in your area in this language.
2 - Better assess your level of Italian, so that you know what to aim for or which type of media to consume and of what level.
3 - Immerse yourself. Try to fit some type of language expression everywhere through your day, like changing the language of your devices to Italian, find an instructor or just a person to speak to in the language, and to not stress too much about this part, you don't have to delete your own language to speak this one.
4 - Learn more about the cultural background of Italy, and in particularly about the history of it, or, if you prefer, reach Italy from a similar speaking language, like Latin, Spanish or French. It obviously won't be the same but you'll get an idea of the differences in thought, from which understanding why the language is made like that is just a step away.
5 - Stick to what you already know better in your language! Why reading a book about the Italian revolution when you're a biologist? I'm not saying that you shouldn't, but learning or absorbing something that you can relate to will make it a thousand times easier to understand and more engaging.
6 - Instead of searching for Italian media, watch, listen or read to something that you have already experienced, like that one film that you've seen tre hundred times and you know every line of. There the language doesn't matter that much anymore since you already know what it is about, but learning like this will be a great experience!
7 - Visit Italy if you haven't, it really is an incredibly beautiful place, and I personally love it, but it's also not that hard to make friends or at least people willing to exchange a conversation, but I advice to try with younger people, normally they're more polite, have a better understanding of English or are just more fun.
Now that we've finally put the introduction behind us, let's talk about what you're really here for: Data.
Italy has produced an enourmous quantity of content of any kind, some modern some not, and I will give you my best suggestions based on my knowledge, but there's a lot more as you can imagine.
I propose that you try with these advices, but remember that there are so many more that I can't remember right now, that will make the list too long or that aren't that great for me but can be for anyone else, so explore!
Books
Here my knowledge isn't great, but you should try The Cyboria books by Pierdomenico Baccalario, there are two of them and they're a bit childish and towards the fantasy, but the language is simple and the story is great.
Something by a popularizer is also a great idea, like Alessandro Barbero or Adrian Fartade ( history and anthropology related and space and astronomy)
Films
Avoid the trash stuff, there's a lot in Italy and some of it is really famous. Believe me you will recognize it.
1 - The Godfather, this couldn't not have been here, not necessarily because the language is simple or the film itself is a correct vision on Italy altogether, but I think it is a good idea to raising your motivation and want to know more. And it's also one of the best films ever made.
2 - Any Aldo Giovanni e Giacomo film, even though some, like "Tre uomini e una gamba" or Così è la vita" are simply masterpieces in my opinion, most of them are great nonetheless. Not only are they extremely fun but also well made, even though the language of it could be a little tricky.
3 - Fantozzi films, they are a little bit old and possibly less entertaining, but still have acceptable humour and can be a choice.
4 - Checco Zalone fims, there are five of them and they are great for the same reason as the Aldo Giovanni and Giacomo ones, just less well made for me, and maybe more "dialectical", so I suggest that you don't start from these ones.
5 - Non ci resta che piangere, for reasons that you'll get while watching it. Great anyways.
6 - Any Bud Spencer and Terence Hill film, particularly "Lo Chiamavano Trinità", they are great and hilarious. Must watch.
TV shows
TV has been and still is a big part of Italian culture, mainly because our population is often old, Catholic or both, so this will be a great way to learn but maybe a little bit boring.
The main national TV is Rai, so search for that firstly if you want to explore this cave. As someone in the comments pointed out, there's a platform akine to Netflix called RaiPlus, which is exactly what you think it is. I'm almost sure that it costs, but it should have also free content on their site.
1 - SuperQuark This is one of the programs that had the biggest influence in Italy, and was conducted by maybe the most famous popularizer, Piero Angela. It varies every time, but it's just catchy, cool and unbelievably well made, so check it out.
2 - Sanremo
The biggest and most followed event on Italian TV, it takes place once a year in the namesake city, and is all about music and singing. Also an amazing idea to understand what you will like to listen later and a way to discover already famous artists that get invited to it.
3 - L'Eredità, Reazione a Catena and other tons of quiz shows
They're normally good if not great, really entertaining but sometimes trashy, still they're a great material. Compare them to Price is Right with less budget and you get the idea.
4 - Sports related
I'm not a big fan of football contrary to most Italians, so if you are you will find tons of material on that, commentators and all, and also about other sports.
Series
A big part of Italians series are telenovelas based on filler episodes, but there is some quality if you dig deep enough.
I don't have enough knowledge of the subject to tell you which are good, so I hope that someone else here does. I'm sorry.
Podcasts
1 - Alessandro Barbero Podcast
Great but mostly historic, not for any taste.
2 - Power Pizza
Fun and nerdy, amazing but a little demential.
3 - Muschio Selvaggio
By far the most famous one, greatly made and funny. Must watch at least partially, its hosts and his participants are all famous, great gateaway to more stuff.
Youtube Channels
This could be the topic that I know the most about, so I hope that it ends up being helpful in some ways.
1 - Yotobi
Great under every aspects, often videogames but not necessarly, just fantastic, must watch.
2 - Barbascura X
Self proclaimed pirate popularizer, great and funny, a lot of movie reviews but mostly animal bullying (search it and you'll know what I mean), also must watch.
3 - Adrian Fartade
More serious popularizer, about space and astronomy, also great.
4 - Groups of Youtuber
There are some groups of channels that decided to put themselves together but that made separated content, like The Illuminati Crew or The Mates. Neither bad nor good most of the times, my favourites are INoobChannel.
5 - Maurizio Merluzzo
Voice actor, good content, not my type of thing though.
6 - Mark the Hammer
Focused on music, silly and interesting.
7 - Scottecs
Possibly the funniest even if kind of demential, good for fast laughs.
Apps
Don't know much about these, but a general great one that i've used for Japanese is HelloTalk, fantastic.
There surely are a lot out there tho, and another useful one is Anki, to remember the words.
Music
A friend of my father made a list of all the most notable bands and singers for him, except the one outside of his generation. This doesn't mean that they are good but that someone living in Italy should know them, still, most of the ones made great music, expecially the ones written in bold.

Bye and good luck!
EDIT: I think that I'm going to progressively add and correct this list, but don't worry, I won't take out anything. Also, thank you all for your kind words, it really wasn't that big of a deal for me but it feels great to be appreciated!
